Bristol, VT, November 30, 2004 - The new SENIX® TSL series of ToughSonic® ultrasonic sensor/controls provide short or long range level control functions for liquid or solid materials at distances from 4 inches to 40 feet in 4 different range configurations. TSL models are waterproof (IP-68), include both Control and Alarm outputs, and operate in either a fill or empty (sump) mode. Only 4 inches long and housed in a threaded stainless steel case, these non-contact distance sensors are easily installed at the top of the tank or vessel and do not contact or enter the material being monitored. SENIX® TSL Series sensor/controls have many advanced features such as push-button “teach” setup and user selected options to handle transient conditions. Intended primarily for liquid level control they also work with other granular or solid materials at reduced range.
Output options include sinking ("NPN") or sourcing ("PNP") switches for either the Control or Alarm output in any combination.
