Bristol, VT, September 27, 2010 - The new Senix® LVL family offers non-contact level or distance measurement as far 10.7 m (35 ft.) depending on the model. Housed in a small PVDF (Kynar®) package, they withstand exposure to chemically aggressive environments, survive submersion (IP-68), and include a potted-in UV resistant cable. Threads are provided at both the top and bottom to allow either suspended or flange installation.

More than just a sensor, the included features allow users to create complete "mini" systems without additional external hardware. A typical example is driving a pump or valve to control liquid level.
