About Us

Our Mission

To be the leading provider of easy-to-use ultrasonic sensors and to back these up with the best customer support in the industry.

Company Profile

In 1990 Senix® introduced a new concept in sensor design - the world's first user-configurable ultrasonic sensor. With a push-button or personal computer interface, users were able to gain access to a range of sensor capabilities previously unavailable.

A simultaneous innovation was elimination of the unreliable potentiometer adjustments common to ultrasonic sensors of that era. As an early developer of intelligent processor-based products, we invented the in situ calibration that has become known as “teach” in the industry   Installers now quickly calibrate without additional tools - a concept copied worldwide.

Senix continues to expand our product line, offering new products with enhanced features, additional functions and more varied environmental capability.

Non-Contact Sensors

We design, manufacture, sell and support a wide range of ultrasonic sensor products to measure distance to a remote object through the air without touching it. Our sensors are used in a broad array of industrial and scientific applications, including machine and motion controls, web controls (material loop and roll diameter), liquid level measurement, person/object proximity sensing – virtually anyplace where non-intrusive measurement and feedback are desired.

Customers Served

We sell to both end users and  OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) in many industries. Standard sensor products provide solutions for most new or retrofit applications. Custom designs are available to meet special packaging or design requirements.

Service: The Formula for Success

We attribute our success to our commitment to designing, delivering, and supporting quality products.  You can depend on Senix for customer service and technical support if the manuals and extensive documentation are not enough.  We wouldn't have it any other way!
